In a follow-up to a previous article, Assistant Principal Rita Wilson of Rancho Bernardo High, who was placed on leave following her underwear inspections at a school dance, is claiming that she is the victim. She claims that all she was doing was trying to prevent "freak" dancing, which apparently is what the kids are into these days.

Frankly I don't care. If those kids want to do some "freak" dancing, well, that's their own call. Not hers. She can gussy her activities up however she wants, its still sexual harassment to perform underwear inspections on unwilling high school students. If your career is ruined, Miss Wilson, its your own damn fault.

Personally I'd think that freak dancing can be done with what ever underwear you have. I don't think she's making any sense with that statement. Its almost as if she were trying to pull a Clinton.

Nothing new here. Give someone some Power/Authority (i.e. the Capital-P/-A "I've got you by the short hairs an' I'm not afraid to pull 'em until you scream!!!"-type of Power/Authority) and they'll eventually find *some* way to abuse it upon those who aren't thus blessed. But take away that Power/Authority, and you'll invariably get either an "instant victim/coward" who will waste no time begging for mercy (and, of course, claim that everyone is "conspiring" against them), or the "righteous martyr" who howls that Society and/or Gummint is (are) too permissive and screams "You'll see! One of these days!" -- and, of course, claim that everyone is "conspiring" against them...

Good example? Look what happened to the Catholic Church when they lost all their secular powers. (Hell, what am I thinking? The "victim" routine began even as they were *rising* to Power! Gotta start that "victimhood" thing early if you wanna be effective...)

There's really nothing left to say on this one. But I agree with almost everyone- I don't see the connection. One's undergarments have no impact on one's ability to dance, unless you're wearing some kind of bulletproof girdle. Depending on how flexible you are, you could probably freak dance in a chastity belt.

You watch. In a couple days, MTV will be running some godawful video featuring a girl doing just that.

What is the problem here? The police officer at the dance knew it was wrong and reported it, as did the attending parents. There is something seriously wrong with that school's administration. If my children had been involved, I'd be at the school board, demanding that every school employee at that dance be sacked for not stopping Ms. Wilson. And the police officer has some explaining to do too, because you know he would have arrested a guy for doing this.

haha, wow. i am a 16 year old guy, who has attended many of these dances that Ms. Wilson described. and man, i am so surprised that none of the students tried to do anything to stop her at the dance. if i was at the dance, and i saw anyone doing that to any girl, or guy, anyone period, you can bet i would have raised hell. called parents right there on the spot. the students should have seen that something wrong was going on right in front of them, come on! anyways, freak dancing does indeed = dry humping, oh well. i mean, shit you could freak dance in a burlap sack if you wanted to, a thong has nothin to do with it.
